Renee Hauschildt

I was born in Holland and , at the age of six, I immigrated to Canada (Lethbridge) with my family. I moved to Edmonton with my husband in 1988. I have one daughter, and a beautiful grand daughter.

I enjoy long hikes in nature, camping, fishing, singing and playing guitar, staying fit and spending time with family and friends.
I have my Early Childhood Development Diploma. I am passionate about my work with young children and have a strong Learn Through Play philosophy. I believe children learn best when given the opportunity to explore their world in a safe and caring environment.

I have worked with children since 1983, first in daycare then, I ran a community based parent coop preschool for 11 years and later as an EA in kindergarten programs with Edmonton Public Schools.

I moved back to Lethbridge in 2014 and spent 2 years working at Lethbridge College as a Child Development Professional which included planning and implementing Parent Preschool Programs in rural communities and mentoring/supervising ECE practicum students.

In Spring of 2016, I started working for Lethbridge School District 51.
I spent two months subbing in various programs. In 2016-2017 I worked as an EA at Galbraith Kindergarten. In 2017-2018 I subbed at Coalbanks EEP from November to the end of the School year then I stayed at the Coalbanks EEP classroom for the 2018-2019 school year! For 2019 -2020 I was at Probe EEP, but I am over-joyed and honoured to be back at Coalbanks this year as a TEAM EA.
I’m so very happy to be back!!:)
