Aja Thompson

¡Hola! My name is Aja Thompson and I love teaching Spanish at Coalbanks.
I lived for over 15 years in Chetumal, Mexico, a small city on the border between Mexico and Belize. I moved to Lethbridge 4 years ago, and I still haven’t gotten use to the wind!
I have my Bachelor of Education from the University of Victoria. While living in Monterrey, Mexico, I earned my Masters of International Education.
Teaching reading is my jam! I love learning more about how kids read and working hard to get every student where they need to be.
When not teaching I love buying unnecessary things on Marketplace, cuddling my two golden retrievers and cooking up everything Mexican.
