The lunch hour at Coalbanks Elementary will be 60 minutes from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Students are ALL welcome to stay for lunch with their classes at no charge. Lunch will be from 12:00-1:00. Half of the students will eat lunch from 12:00-12:30 and the other half will eat lunch from 12:30-1:00.
Lunch Students can stay at school for lunch and will be supervised by teachers. Kindergarten through Grade 5 will be eating in their classrooms. There is a microwave in every classroom. After the students have eaten, all students will go outside to again be supervised by teachers.
Students are still, of course, welcome to go home for lunch if they are able to do so within these time parameters. If going home, students will be dismissed at 12:00pm and will return to their classroom at 1:00pm. If they return to school prior to 1:00pm, they may join the other students for lunch recess.
Please remember that our school is NUT-AWARE and ask that you do not send your child to school with peanut or nut containing products as we do have students and staff with severe peanut/nut allergies.
