Kyla Matthews
Grade 2/3
Hello! My name is Kyla Matthews and I am so excited to be a part of the grade 2/3 team again at Coalbanks. I graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Social Studies and Bachelor of Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. This is my third year at Coalbanks! Previously, I taught grade 4/5 at Coalbanks, and Junior High/High School Social Studies, Math and Physical Education in Bow Island. When I am not teaching, you will find me in the mountains hiking and backpacking, running, or spending time with my family and friends. I look forward getting to know the students, staff, and parents this upcoming year at Coalbanks!
