Natasha Tompkins

My name is Natasha Tompkins and I am part of the amazing grade 1 team at Coalbanks Elementary School.  I grew up in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, and went to Augustana University College for a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in music.  I then went to the University of Alberta for an elementary education degree.  I lived in Calgary for several years and then moved to Lethbridge to raise a family.  I’ve been in Lethbridge for 13 years and love everything about it (except maybe the wind!).  This is my 4^th year at Coalbanks and my 3^rd teaching grade 1.  Previously, I have taught Music, Grade 4 and Grade 5 in various schools in Lethbridge.  I love reading, music, hiking, running, chocolate and spending time with my family.  I’m passionate about creating strong connections with my students and look forward to meeting a new class family!
