Natasha Tompkins

My name is Natasha Tompkins and I'm honoured to be part of the amazing grade 4/5 team at Coalbanks Elementary School this year.  I grew up in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, and went to Augustana University College for a Bachelor of Arts degree(with a Concentration in Music) and then to the University of Alberta for my Elementary Education degree.  I lived in Calgary for several years and then moved to Lethbridge to raise a family.  I've been here now for 10 years and love everything about it (except maybe the wind!).  My most recent teaching experience has been as a music specialist at Fleetwood Bawden and teaching grade 1 at General Stewart.  I love reading, music, being active, the mountains, chocolate and spending time with my husband, Shawn, my 11-year-old daughter, Samara, and my 9-year-old daughter, Presley.  I'm passionate about creating strong connections with my students and helping them have successful experiences. https://bestmrstompkinsclass.weebly.com/
