Katy Hilliard

My name is Katy Hilliard and I am one of the Learning Support Teachers at Coalbanks Elementary School  I grew up in Spruce Grove, Alberta and went to the University of Alberta in Edmonton, where I completed my Education degree with a specialization in Inclusive Education.  After living and teaching in the Foothills School Division for 10 years, my family and I moved to Lethbridge over the summer.
When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family, hiking, snowboarding, doing crossfit, watching and listening to live music and drinking coffee.  
I am passionate about building and creating deep connections with students, staff and families.  I have loved getting to know the Coalbanks family last year, and look forward continuing to get to know students at Coalbanks and a beautiful year ahead!
