Patti Caven
Grade 1
My name is Patti Caven and I love teaching at Coalbanks Elementary School! I have been teaching in Grades 1 and 2 for over 18 years and I love my job! It brings me so much joy when my students accomplish tasks and achieve their goals. In addition to being a teacher, I spend my time with my husband of 30+ years and my two grown children. We love to travel, play golf, take road trips in our Jeep and spend time with friends and family in our yard. I am a big fan of Dr. Seuss and my mission statement is borrowed from him, “Don’t give up, I believe in you all! A person’s a person, no matter how small.”
