Hello! I am very excited and eager to begin another year at Coalbanks Elementary School. I have been teaching since 2002 with Lethbridge Division 51. I taught grade 6 my first year at Senator Buchanan, and then spent the next 6 years at Wilson Middle School in grade 6. I then moved to Nicholas Sheran Community School to teach grade 5, and grade 4. In 2013 I made the move to teacher Kindergarten.
I have a passion for early childhood and learning through play. I take pride in connecting with my students and their families to foster strong relationships, and provide them with the best environment for early learning.
When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my husband and our family. I enjoy connecting with nature, photography, drawing & painting, camping and spending quality time with my daughter and son just having fun! I love to travel with Africa and the UK as my most recent highlights. I am looking forward to starting this journey with you!
