Natasha Tompkins
Music Teacher
My name is Natasha Tompkins and I am so excited to be the music specialist at Coalbanks Elementary School. I grew up in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, and went to Augustana University College for a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in music. I then went to the University of Alberta for an elementary education degree. I lived in Calgary for several years and then moved to Lethbridge to raise a family. I’ve been in Lethbridge for 15 years and love everything about it (except maybe the wind!). This is my 6th year at Coalbanks but my first year as the music specialist. Previously, I have taught Music, Grade 4 and Grade 5 in various schools in Lethbridge. I love reading, music, hiking, running, chocolate and spending time with my family. I’m passionate about creating strong connections with my students, making music fun and accessible for all.
