Hello! My name is Ashton Whidden and I am so privileged to be a part of the Coalbanks Kindergarten Team! I graduated from the University of Alberta with my degree in Elementary Education back in 2012. I specialized in Early Education, minoring in math and science, and music. After taking a break from teaching to be at home with my little ones, I am thrilled to be back in the classroom, especially the magical place that is Kindergarten! In our classroom we celebrate differences, embrace challenges, and learn through creativity and play. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy being outside and adventuring with my wonderful kids and husband. I am also a huge music lover and musician. I am thrilled to be at Coalbanks again this year and I look forward to a fabulous year of learning in Kindergarten!
